Flooded Basement Due to Heavy Rains

Heavy rains can threw and raised the water levels high enough to reach into this residents home. The basement had a lot of water and black muck come in. The home owner called SERVPRO. SERVPRO professionals showed up and quickly sucked the excess water out of the basement.  Then SERVPRO professionals cleaned and sanitized the flooring area. Drying equipment was also set up to dry out areas that was still wet. Content that was damaged and couldn't be saved was properly removed and disposed of. Proper disposal of contaminated items is very important to avoid any type of recontaminating .
